Hi! My first Godot/solo-created game.
Hey! jx here.
Mutually Assured Destruction marks the first solo project in any Game Engine, in this case Godot. I used this project as a way to figure out gravity-related mechanics (pull force, rotation with projectile motion) and a way to learn Godot hands-on. Coming to Godot from my UE4 hasn't been very smooth so far, but it'll get better over time (I hope).
This version of M.A.D marks the MVP of this project. There's hopefully more to come (if I don't get swamped with other work...), including (in this order of priority):
- In-game controls / Settings
- Local/Networked(?) Multiplayer
- High score feature for singleplayer / Enemy waves / Improved Enemy AI
- The Nuke gauge: More weapons/upgrades (& increased starting health)/ Brinkmanship system?
This can also be seen in the game description. Meanwhile, if there are any bugs, concerns or improvements anyone would like to point out, please feel free to notify me.
